Hadley House: Amenities include hot tub, wood stove, high speed internet/wifi, 2 tvs, lush gardens, amazing outdoor spaces with seating, festive lights and bbq grill. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water, flower, vegetable, and herb gardens, meditation/reading/sleeping cabin, kayak with direct access to the Konkapot Brook for kayaking or catch and release fishing, chef's kitchen with stainless appliances, washer/dryer, window unit ACs throughout. Pets are considered with fee. No smoking please The space Hadley House: a darling Victorian Farmhouse with attention to every detail. This immaculate Stockbridge property sits on 2 acres and has direct access to the Konkapot Brook. Hadley House has a well-organized entry mudroom, with cubbies and bins, for all of your Berkshire gear. The earthen plaster walls and reclaimed barn wood paneling Is warm and inviting. The chef's kitchen has everything you need--with all stainless appliances: dishwasher, 5 burner gas range, large fridge and lots of handy smaller appliances (electric water kettle, coffee maker, citrus press, microwave, toaster, blender, etc.) to make cooking your meals a breeze. The dining room seats 8 and ½ bath are just off the kitchen. The dining room also has a wood stove for those cooler Berkshire nights and so cozy after a soak in the hot tub. The living room has a brand-new sofa with chaise and two leather club chairs, complete with a game cabinet. Upstairs you have 3 bedrooms – the primary with Queen bed, the guest room, also with Queen and a third bedroom with twin bed. These 3 bedrooms share a brand-new, gorgeous, bathroom with soaking tub and shower. In summer and fall the outdoor shower with both hot and cold water makes a 2nd bath! The third floor finished attic has a wonderful media room with large HD TV, lots of space for yoga, meditation, and is also a fun kids space with a foosball table. The attic sleep space has a full bed with beautiful mountain views. With AC throughout, the whole house stays cool. The sunroom leads from kitchen to the outdoor spaces, which are spectacular! Outside, dine alfresco under the trellised patio with table and chairs, outdoor lights and grill. The outdoor shower, with both hot and cold water, is available in the summer and fall and the hot tub is available year-round. The lush garden pathways lead from herb garden, to vegetable, perennials, and a cutting garden. Please, pick and eat! There is also a fabulous meditation/ sleeping shack-a tiny wonderhaus made of reclaimed wood and other creative materials. Its inviting, imaginative, and cozy with its own hammock, fire pit, seating and a tree swing. Surrounding all is the Konkapot River for kayaking and exploring, with catch and release fishing, and nature viewing. The river runs through it… and Hadley House provides a little slice of heaven, for every season. Close to all Berkshire attraction – less than 15 minutes to Tanglewood, less than 10 to the center of Great Barrington and also less than 15 minutes to Ski Butternut and about 20 to Catamount!
