Unique country cottage located on the back side of North Sugarloaf Mountain in picturesque South Deerfield. Minutes to 91, Yankee Candle, Old Deerfield, Northampton, Amherst, the area's 5 colleges and local prep schools. Living room has comfy sofa, recliner and TV. First floor bedroom has view of Mount Toby when you wake in the morning. Updated kitchen is fully equip including Keurig and dishwasher. The space Cozy and comfortable, this little cottage (900sq ft) will let you relax and enjoy your stay in western Massachusetts. Private outside deck as well as a cozy sunroom to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, and afternoon read, or cocktails before dinner. Guest access Cottage is connected to our circa 1850 homestead. It is accessed through owner’s garage down a set for stairs. Other arrangements can be made if stairs are difficult. Full kitchen, dining room, wifi, washer and dryer, outdoor deck with grill. Second floor is accessed up a set of narrow steep stairs and includes a bedroom with double bed and another sitting, reading room with a double futon. Other things to note *No smoking inside the house. *Pets considered *For winter guests – cottage is heated with propane monitor, pellet stove, and mini splits so guests need to be willing to operate and load pellet stove (pellets provided) *For summer guests – cottage has 2 minisplits. One upstairs and one downstairs for air conditioning comfort *Please flush toilet tissue only. *Please leave the house as you found it!
