The apartment is in Kuau plaza building at the third floor next to Hana Hwy, for people that are sensible to the car noise could be annoying. BUGS ( ants and cockroaches) Despite regular pest control treatments performed on the entire complex, as well as individually on this unit – Maui has a tropical climate and there are insects. To avoid issues, please do not leave ANY food residue on surfaces and take the garbage out regularly. Leaving dirty dishes in the sink can also attract bugs. We’re lucky in Hawaii that most insects are harmless, but it can be an annoyance and any guests who are sensitive to bugs should be extra careful to keep the space tidy. **Please note we cannot offer refunds in response to complaints due to the typical presence of insects here on the island and appreciate your understanding.**
