Description

Private Bedroom on the Main strip of Historic Honokaa town! Just 1 mins walk to town with shops & restaurants! 10 mins to Waipio Valley with black sand beaches & Waterfalls, the 2nd most visited spot on island! There's a historic koi pond in the courtyard and outside hallway that leads to 2 shared bathrooms & Full Kitchen! Free wifi and smart TV! We are north central so it's great for going either side to Hilo or Kona & Waipio! Adults only. The space We are north so we do not get any VOG and is safe from the volcanic activity with the best air quality all year round. The Volcano room has a single bed and is for 1 guest only it is our smallest room and cheapest What's nice is it has windows all around. This is the only room without a ceiling fan, however we have a portable small fan, depends when you stay if it's during the winter months you won't need a fan cause it's pretty cool at night. If you want bigger space the Master bedroom is large or Hamakua room is med size for just $5 more our Mauna Kea room has it's own entrance and Waipio Studio is largest with it's own kitchenette. We have had many guests staying in this room and didn't mind because they are out most of the day and would prefer to save the money. Property Hawaii Tax # - TAT Tax ID: TA-202-859-1104-01 Honokaa HI 96727 Guest access The Hawaiian complex has a total of 5 private bedrooms, each with a keyless lock, so you can check in at your convenience from 4 PM to 9 PM - just enter the code to get in. The Volcano Private Room (#3) is located in the three-bedroom house section of the Hawaiian Complex. Simply enter the code, and the key will be hanging by the bedroom door for added security. The house features a 48-inch TV in the shared living room and seating area. When you walk out of the house, you'll find an open-air walkway with a koi pond and garden, which connects to the two shared bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, coffeemaker, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The walls are thin, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend the Mauna Kea Room (which has its own direct entrance) or the Waipiʻo Room, located at the opposite end of the complex, also with a direct entrance. The outdoor walkway is designed for good energy and feng shui, and it's away from the sleeping areas, making it quieter. You’ll get to experience the original historic plantation-style home, which is truly one of a kind. This is why I fell in love with the property - you don’t often come across homes like this anymore. There are tables and lounge chairs for sunbathing right next to the banana trees. The property also features tangerines and soursop, giving you a chance to truly experience Hawaii! Parking: There are 2 private guest parking stalls at the back of the building, 2 on the sides, and free street parking in front. Room Info: This room is small (80 sq. ft. (8 sq. m.) but loved by many guests due to its affordability and ocean views - it’s half the price of a hotel room. Plus, most guests are out sightseeing and prefer to save money. If you want a larger room, consider the Master Bedroom, Mauna Kea Room, or Waipiʻo Studio, which each have their own entrance and are available for just $5 more. Please take a look at our photos to ensure you're clear on what you're booking. I also have my uncle Jimmy living on the property for maintenance and security, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Additional Information: - Please ensure you know which room you booked when you check-in. - We are located next to the police and fire station, so occasionally (once every 4 months or so), you may hear their intercom at night. However, you'll feel extra safe with them next door. - Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM to ensure all guests enjoy their stay. This is a one-of-a-kind Hawaiian house where you’ll experience a piece of history. Mahalo! Adults 18+ only. During your stay I respond quickly to guests, so feel free to reach out with any questions during your stay! We strive to maintain a clean property, but with 12 rentals, we may occasionally miss something. If you notice any issues with your room, please let us know immediately so we can address them and ensure you have a wonderful vacation. Our goal is to earn your five-star review, and we are committed to doing everything we can to make your stay exceptional! Thank you, and enjoy your stay! Other things to note Please remove all your food from the shared spaces when checking out. If you have any food you don’t need and don’t want to throw away, please give it to Uncle Jimmy - he will appreciate it or pass it on to others in need. Mahalo!
