One of the best things about this house is that it's located less than a minute from Highway 11 on a paved road. This 2 bedroom home is located in a quiet neighborhood halfway between the Volcano Nat'l Park and the bayside town of Hilo(a 20 min. drive both ways).There is a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and supplies (range+oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, utensils, table setting, and cookware).Clean and comfortable place to come back to after a day of exploring. The back half of the property is fenced off and that is where our animals (sheep, goat, cats, and chickens) reside. We ask that our guests be very careful when accessing that area, since open gates could mean that our animals may get loose and wander off. The guest home is connected to our home by a spacious patio. Feel free to enjoy your morning coffee and/or evening glass of wine outside. You may see us going in and out of our home and around our property. Please free to ask us if you have any questions or need assistance. We are happy to have you as our guests. That being said, we will be sure to respect your privacy and hope that you will respect ours. When driving down our road, you're going to feel as though you've been transported into Jurassic Park, with the lush foliage and palm trees surrounding you. On a clear night, you'll be able to see a night sky full of stars since there are no bright lights to mask the view. Free parking is available next to the guest house. (about 10 steps away from the front door) We love children, and we want to make sure that everyone is safe when interacting with our animals. Children should only be in the back part of the property with the animals with adult supervision. *There may sometimes be a change in animals between the time you book and when you arrive. We do update our pictures and try to date their photos so you know what to expect.
