Point Pleasant Beach ("PPB") is at the hub of the Jersey Shore at the top of the Barnegat Bay and along the Manasquan inlet. The home is 300 yards from the Elizabeth Carter Private Beach-6 badges included - small children do not need a badge. PPB has a great boardwalk restaurants, amusement rides for the young and older, bars, brewery and entertainment a 20 min walk from the house, so you are near the action but not in it. The Ark restaurant is a short walk from the house. The space Check in is at 3 PM and Check out time is at 10 AM (STRICT). Three (3) bedrooms and an extra bonus family room w/ balcony on 2nd floor next to the bedrooms to relax and watch TV. Family room and Main Bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the lake. The three bedrooms have - 1 king in the Master Bedroom and a Queen in each of the two other bedrooms. Pricing is Lower before and after peak summer season. There are 3 televisions but they are minimal for catching up on news - NO big screens or home movie theater. The house has a front porch w seating to enjoy day or night off of the living room space overlooking the Lake of the Lilies, a wildlife and bird sanctuary. You can hear the ocean waves, especially at night. The house has an eat in kitchen island, dining room that seats 10 and a sun room with another table that seats 4 people - this also has bar seating for several that adjoins the kitchen. The space has an open floor plan on the first floor. There are steps to get in and out of the house. The house has 2 floors - the three bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a garage with 1 garage space available to park inside. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. Freezer has an automatic ice maker. Dishwasher in kitchen. Wi-Fi & Comcast & Netflix TV for entertainment. There are 3 small televisions - 1 in sun room on first floor, 1 in main bedroom and one in family room upstairs. All TVs have Comcast Cable TB but no home theater or huge screen TVs (don't want to disappoint anyone). House has a lot of board and other games on hand and cards to enjoy in hall closet upstairs. House has two balconies and 2 full bathrooms on second floor. Jack and Jill bathroom has a whirlpool tub - MB has a walk in shower. 3 Bedrooms have walk in closets. In the back yard there is a table and chairs with umbrella and small outdoor gas grill. Large side yard good for Frisbee, corn hole or whiffle ball games. There is an outdoor shower (summer) which is refreshing after a day at our private beach. During beach season (Memorial Day weekend and each weekend to Father's Day weekend then daily to Labor Day) we have life guards and gate guards on duty during day. Beach is just 300 yards from the house with 8 Private beach badges included, young children do not need badges. (please don't lose badges each cost $130 you will be charged to replace). Beach association rules are posted at the house - no glass bottles, no liquor. Boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas are available for use. There are great restaurants in walking distance or short drive (less than 1 mile) and throughout the town. The boardwalk is a 15 min walk from the house and has rides, stands, bars and lots of night life. There are free concerts on Wednesdays on the beach in July and August. Every Thursday in the summer there are fireworks on the boardwalk which you can go and see or watch from the house. On Sunday nights there are talent shows on the beach in the summer and other activities. The boardwalk is fun to jog or walk on in the morning or to just watch the people. You can rent a bike and ride through town and through the surrounding towns. The downtown Arnold Avenue is about a short drive (about 1 mile) or 20 minute walk away and has great shops including consignment shops, restaurants, antique shops, and Uncle Vinnie's comedy club. The train station is also downtown about 15-20 minute walk from the house in downtown area. The trains can take you to and from New York which also stops at Newark Airport. We provide a list of restaurants of all types and those with great seafood. PP Beach is home to Joe Leone’s Italian Specialty food store, Jersey Mike’s and Hoffman’s ice cream. Also fun to explore the other towns near by ... Asbury Park, Bay Head, Seaside Heights, Ocean Grove, etc. If you sail you can rent a sail boat about 35 minute drive to Tom's river just to mention a few. Also the town is a fishing town - fresh seafood, you can watch the boats come in and you can go out fishing locally on a day or night trip or half day or go deep sea fishing. You can fish along the Manasquan inlet about 1 mile from the house or from the beach. You can also surf the beach in the non-swimming areas. Guest access Guests have total access to entire house EXCEPT for the hot tub, storage shed in back of house and one closet in the house where we keep our personal belongings (PLEASE) Respect that) and one (1) inside Garage parking space and 4 car parking in the driveway. We also ask that you do NOT use the couches for sleeping. You and your guests should use the beds in the three bedrooms for sleeping. Note, the old bike in the garage is not available for use as it not reliable. There is a place in town that rents bicycles or bring your own and store them in the garage. Relax and enjoy.... we want you to feel at home! Plenty of old fashioned board games and puzzles, legos, for the kids. Call Angel's cell IMMEDIATELY - if any issues at all - we can't do anything to rectify the situation after the fact.
