Located 10 minutes from Hana town & across the road to Waioka Pond. The elevated cottage captures the breeze passing through aromatic trees; various bird songs, with gentle air flowing through screen doors on all sides of the cottage A screened breakfast nook connected to the kitchen. Ceiling fans add additional air flow to comfort on the warmest days and nights. Kitchen amenities include countertop appliances, electric range stove, full size refrigerator & an electric grill. Smart TV / Wifi. The space Situated next to the streambed that leads to Waioka Pond (Venus Pool), this well-loved, open yet cozy cottage was built in the 1990's and is a 5 minute walk to the pond which is right across the road. Stairs lead from the parking space in front up to the second floor which is the entire unit. There is an abundance of light from the many screen doors encircling the perimeter. Also, enclosed screens for sitting on the lanai for listening to the stream if it happens to be running, or the multiple birds and jungle sounds. Since we are in the jungle you may find yourself sharing the space with a gecko or two from time to time! Being an older home, it may show a bit of age, and with that said, we do our best to maintain her in this jungle environment! Guest access The ʻOhana Cottage is a stand alone private cottage which guests have to themselves. Parking in front of the cottage, and stairs that go up to the front door. Other things to note Our guidelines are made to ensure all guests are comfortable and safe during their time of reservation. The maximum occupancy for the cottage is 2, including children OVER 12 years old. We coexist with geckos, mosquitos, and other insects, and at times they get closer than intended, despite our attempts to keep them out, occasionally they slip into our enclosed spaces. We remove them in preparation of your visit and ask for your participation in deterring them by: • Shutting off lights at night when a room is unoccupied • Putting food waste in compost bucket & close light • Putting leftover food in the refrigerator Registration Details 140120120000, TA-063-420-6208-01
