The Architect's Retreat

Tucked down a lane in the historic West end of Provincetown, you'll will find this beautiful newly renovated home. Located just steps from the harbor beach and Commercial St where you'll find restaurants, galleries, shops and everything that makes the town unique. Our home is filled with luxurious elements that create a true sense of place. While the exterior of our home fits the historic context of our neighborhood, the interior diverges to the intersection of modern and coastal tradition. The space This cape style home was built circa 1850 and completely redesigned and renovated by the architect owner in 2016 and was featured in Boston Home magazine. Sleeps up to four people and is ideal for two couples with a bedroom and bathroom on each of the two floors. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a full kitchen, dining area and living room all centrally air conditioned. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom, freestanding bathtub and attached deck. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. There is a bluestone patio off of the living room in addition to the second floor deck off of the bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck listening to the sounds of the nearby harbor located a block away or if you prefer, grab a coffee from our local favorite, Relish, and stroll along the harbor beach taking in the sights and sounds of everything Provincetown has to offer. Luxury linens, beach towels, dishwasher, washer/dryer, weber grill, gas fire pit. The kitchen has Thermador appliances, marble counters, custom cabinets outfitted with All-Clad cookware and other high-end amenities. The floors throughout are wide white oak showing off lots of character. Guests may park two cars, side by side, on the property but the driveway is not large enough for two x-large cars or trucks. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, galleries, coffee shops and is just a half block off of Commercial St. (the main street for shops, galleries and restaurants) Please note: This is not a party house and no smoking is allowed in the house or on the property. Guest access There is only one house on the property and you will have complete and exclusive access and use to it. Other things to note The setup of the house is not conducive to families with small children as the bedrooms are on separate floors. There is a seven night minimum from June to September and rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only.
