Surrounded by 7 acres woods & expansive grounds of perennial gardens, our 4 bedroom family friendly is perched on a hill with full privacy & amazing views. A true serene country getaway with amenities for a relaxing vacation. Sleeps up to 10 people. Our cabin is on a private dirt road, 15min stroll to our local lake & close to Great Barrington, ski mountain resorts, Kripalu, Monterey, Tanglewood, Lee, stores & restaurants. The homr boasts a fully equipped, open-concept kitchen, seamlessly integrated into the dining and living areas. Whether whipping up a family meal, hosting a dinner party, or celebrating a holiday, our home offers a delightful and accommodating environment for all your gathering needs. Upstairs, discover two light-filled bedrooms and a convenient bathroom, while the main floor features an additional bedroom and bathroom. The downstairs den/TV area provides further sleeping options, ensuring comfort for every guest. Set amidst lush woods and vibrant perennial gardens, our cabin is a secluded haven, inviting you to connect with nature. Additional outdoor dining areas allow you to savor meals in the tranquility of the great outdoors. Experience every season in our family friendly home. Winter invites cozy moments by the fireplace and trips to nearby ski destinations like Otis Ski Ridge and Butternut. In summer, enjoy our nearby lake, a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute drive away, perfect for swimming and fishing. Located close to the Berkshires' best attractions, from nature trails to art galleries and gourmet dining, near Tanglewood, Kripalu, Lee, Great Barrington, Monterey, and other charming towns. Enjoy our wonderland Berkshires home, where indoor comfort and outdoor beauty combine to create an unforgettable experience. Guest access You have access to our entire home. Since this is our family home, we do have personal items around. We've put locks on closets and drawers that are off limits, so if you can open it, you're allowed to access it! Feel free to use our library and enjoy the books, and please put them back before you leave. Please use our canoe/kayak, fishing and other boat gear with appropriate safety precautions. Any items moved during your stay we would appreciate if you could return to its proper place. And if anything is damaged during your stay please inform us ASAP so we can deal with it promptly. Rarely, our guest house barn set in the back of the property is occupied by us. If it is occupied we give you full privacy, and cars are parked at the bottom of the driveway.Please inquire when booking if this is relevant to your stay. Other things to note Air conditioning on 1st floor livingroom & kitchen, window fans in bedrooms. Skylights in top floor bedrooms. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1) If staying during winter or rainy seasons, you must have 4WD OR AWD - and preferably snow tires, and be prepared to drive in rough terrain and steep driveway. Many of the roads in the Berkshires are dirt roads and you must be comfortable driving on them. The winter conditions are snowy and icy, and the roads can get icy and slushy in winter and rainy months. 2) Rarely, our guest house barn set in the back of the property is occupied. If it is occupied we give you full privacy, and cars are parked at the bottom of the driveway.Please inquire when booking if this is relevant to your stay. 3) Pets allowed on case by case basis. Please reach out to us if you are planning on bringing your furry family member or pet, we allow pets on a case by case basis. We love animals, and have had them in our family our whole lives.
