Mid-century Retreat w/Ocean&Mountain Views
A private 1 bedroom retreat in Upper Hahaione Valley. King size bed, A/C, pullout full-size sofa bed. Perfect for access to Waikiki (15 min), Hanuma Bay (5 min), Sandy Beach (8 min) and Waimanalo Beach (15 min). Beach chairs and cooler provided! The home is in a quiet neighbourhood and elevated, resulting in ocean and mountain views. You have your own private entrance and are attached to the main house; but with a private lanai, kitchen, washing machine and parking 30+ day minimum rental. The newly renovated unit is attached to the main home where we reside, but separated by locked doors and has it's own private lanai and entrance. Guests can relax on the lanai for beautiful sunrises and sunsets and enjoy the cool breeze that comes off the mountains. The valley we live in tends to be a bit cooler than other areas of Honolulu which means you'll rarely need A/C in the evening but it will still be beautiful warm weather throughout the day. The unit contains a coffee machine, full-size fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster oven for basic meals. The kitchen table can seat 4 for family meals. The bathroom is renovated and contains a large shower. Stretch out in the king-size bed in the bedroom with an additional full-size pullout sofa bed in the main living area. *Additional guests: The unit can accommodate a third adult for an additional nightly charge, please inquire with us if this is something you're interested in. The unit has a Roku Smart TV so you can watch your shows via Netflix, Prime Video, etc.. There is plenty of street parking available with a space right out front of the entrance gate that is always available. Guests have access to the full unit. We have no access to the guests area. Feel free to inquire about things to do and places to eat! We'll be available for any questions you have. A quiet neighbourhood in Hawaii Kai; escape the city for peaceful evenings but still with close access to shops and restaurants and a quick drive into the heart of Honolulu. Renting a car is strongly recommended; it's difficult to rely on public transit to see the island and access the home.
