Need a porch to sit on and listen to the sounds of the lake? Launch a kayak (2 kayaks are provided on premises) and catch a few bass? This little cabin is a perfect get -away. Sits on a secluded hill on 23 acres of private property. Spend some time in nature and enjoy being away from city life. We DO have Direct TV and NOW HAVE WIFI, some cell carrier services are spotty or even NON existent. Please be prepared to "unplug" while enjoying your quiet time on the lake or around the campfire The space Get away from town and the rat race. Watch the sunset and hear the sounds of nature. Take a hike, row a canoe or kayak around the lake and catch a few fish. Or just sit on the pier and nap away the afternoon. Throw a few steaks on the grill and sip some suds under the lighted picnic awning. Guest access Full cabin, lighted picnic area and pier are accessible from this property. It sits on 23 acres that can be walked, hiked or explored. There is ample parking for vehicles and/or boats & trailers. (nearest boat ramp is OAKRIDGE PARK approx 4 miles up Hwy 191) Other things to note Hen House cabin is conveniently placed close enough to Mallard Bay cabin to welcome friends or family or make new friends, yet far enough apart to enjoy your own space. There is plenty of surrounding area to roam and let the kids/pets explore.
