This is a gem of a space, private and clean with everything you need. Our home is in a small, local, residential neighborhood directly across the street from Velzyland beach, an amazing beach and surf break that is adjacent to another amazing beach and surf break that is adjacent to another amazing beach and surf break. Due to County Bill 41 the stay can not be less than 30 days and we will not reduce the 30 day pricing based on the number of nights occupied. This is the downstairs back unit of our home. It is completely autonomous with it's own private kitchen, bathroom and entrance, and is on the back yard, a small grassy spot. You have your own parking space, a small lanai, a private walkway to your unit, and access to the back yard. There is a hose in front. Please remove the sand before you come up the stairs. I live nearby and am happy to help with anything you might need. This is a small local neighborhood. We all know how lucky we are to live across from Velzyland :) The grocery is 3 miles, gas station 1 mile, Turtle Bay resort 2 miles, beach, steps away.....Between our home and Turtle Bay resort is The University of Hawaii Agriculture Farm. Mostly, they have sheep here now. In the other direction you come to Sunset Beach, Rocky Point, Log Cabins, Keiki, Shark's Cove, Three Tables, Waimea Bay.....all AMAZING beaches :) And you can swim in the waterfall at Waimea Bay.T he beach across the street from our house is a hidden gem. Tour busses cannot access it, but you can walk across in minutes. It is a great surfing and swimming beach. The bus goes over the entire island for 2.00 per trip. There is a bus stop in front of our home. There are bicycles for rent at Shark's Cove and the bike path will take you to all of the pretty beaches along the tree covered bike path. There is parking for your rental car in our driveway. Our home is off of Kamehameha Hwy., the two lane beach road. You will also have wonderful access to the beaches, and an easy in and out as you go on your adventures. We do not have neighbors on 2 sides, but on the other 2 sides we do. You will hear cars intermittently. Because this is the downstairs of our home you may hear footsteps of people above, but we have added extra insulation to try to address this. We raised our children in this home while we built the home that we live in now. We loved living there and hope that you will enjoy staying in this special location. :)
