On both sides of our 20 acre ranch property. There is roughly a half mile of isolated stream valleys and waterfalls . There are countless and totally private waterfalls and pools to enjoy ! For the experienced hiker. This makes for great exploring adventures. Hiking in the stream valleys goes for miles above the property as well. The down stairs bedroom has a Cal-King. The 60' deck with ocean and mountain views make the hammock one of life's great rewards! There are granite counter tops in kitchen. Outside you can sit under the stars around the camp fire and roast some marshmallows. There is plenty of room for safe tent camping for the kids all over the 20 acres of beautiful park like setting with rope swings and large shade trees across the property. We are situated between two tropical stream valleys with total privacy. Located 25 minutes north of Hilo and 30 minutes from Waipio Valley. The house is 1 mile from the highway with the last 1/4 mile dirt road. If you are looking for an over the river and through the woods getaway experience on the Big Island this is the place for you. NOTE : Flooding may and does occur in North Hilo and the Big Island. Please use Extreme caution when near, swimming in or crossing any waterway. 4x4 or jeep is recommended for exploring back road areas on the island and to get to my place. 4x4 is required to access Waipio Valley, Green Sands Beach and Mauna Kea .
