The space Welcome to Gash Creek Family Camp – your forest escape in the Bitterroot Valley Our family is building this glampground one piece at a time, with the hope that other families like ours can make lifelong memories here. Tucked in the trees just south of Missoula, our camp offers the magic of the outdoors with the comfort of home. The Space Your stay includes both of our cozy, wood-framed canvas tents and full access to our private, 9-acre forest property: 🌿 The Queen Tent – Features a comfy memory foam queen bed, curated vintage furnishings, French doors opening to the deck, ceiling fan, and now—climate control! Stay cool in summer and toasty on chilly nights with A/C and supplemental heat. 🌲 The Bunk Tent – Just steps away, this throwback bunkhouse sleeps 4 on double memory foam bunks, with its own fan, climate control, electric, and a woodstove for cozy vibes. Bath & Kitchen A short stroll up the path brings you to our remodeled bathhouse with a full bathroom (shower, toilet, washer/dryer) and a custom-built camp kitchen stocked with: Mini fridge & 2-burner stovetop Electric skillet, Instapot, toaster Tableware & cookware for 6 French press & drip coffee makers Outdoor Living Shaded picnic area with large table Gas grill for cookouts Gas firepit surrounded by comfy lounge chairs Acres of woods to explore As we like to say: “It feels like camping, but it sleeps like a house.” The Vibe This is peaceful, unplugged time—crickets at night, birds in the morning, the sound of the creek lulling you to sleep. And yet, there’s electricity, soft linens, and your coffee brewing as the sun hits the trees. Location & Activities We’re a gated property nestled at the foot of state forest land. Other things to note A Place to Truly Unplug At Gash Creek Camp, our goal is to create space for real connection—without the usual distractions. There’s no Wi-Fi, and cell service varies depending on your provider. We invite you to embrace the slower pace, the laughter around the fire, and the quiet of the woods. The two tents are spaced approximately 100 feet apart, offering privacy for families or friends traveling together. The bathhouse is also about 100 feet from the nearest tent—close enough for convenience, but far enough to enjoy the peace of nature. A Note on Nature This property borders forestland, and with that comes the possibility of seeing wildlife—deer, elk, and even bears or mountain lions, just like you might on a traditional camping trip. Please stay aware as you move around the land, especially with children, and treat the outdoors with the respect it deserves.
