Bungalow in Hilo

My vacation rental is a spacious, beautifully-furnished cottage, next to my home, on 1/2 acre in a small, upscale community just two miles north of the historic whaling town of Hilo. Honolii Beach, the popular eastside surf spot, is a five-minute walk down a one-lane road. Taxes are paid upon arrival. The space My home and my vacation rental are located on the lush, tropical side of the big island, just outside of Hilo. This small community borders the old Mamaloha coastal road that winds Honolii Beach and continues over streams and waterfalls. Honolii Beach is just a short walk down our one-lane road and has a beautiful picnic area with lifeguards, showers, and bathrooms. Honolii is very popular and has consistent waves year-round for surfers and boogie boarders. The freshwater river that empties into the bay has a huge swimming hole and two beautiful waterfalls just upstream. Hiking, jogging, bike riding,surfing, swimming, or just kicking back are activities you can do from the vacation cottage without driving anywhere. Our convenient location also makes it simple to visit the many scenic areas around the island. And remember, one of the friendliest beaches on this side of the island is just a short stroll down the road. The door will be open , with the key and a welcome note on the table for easy check-in anytime after 1:00. Other things to note The only extra charge is the bed and sales tax which is due upon arrival. I am licensed by the state and collect and pay the taxes quarterly. The total tax is 17.75%.
