There are many great hikes to choose from around here. - We have the fastest internet available in our area, 1 gigabit fiberoptic. - AT&T and T-Mobile work here. We also have a cell phone booster for those that want to stay in touch or if you prefer you can just as easily be unplugged, as this is rural Hawaii. - International travel plug adapter on hand just in case. - The home uses a rain-catchment water system (UV + filtration). We ask guests to be mindful with water use; we can share the current tank level on request. Many guests also prefer to buy bottled drinking water. - At night, bugs are attracted to lights, so keep the doors and windows closed. We live in the tropics and have done all we can to mitigate pests, but you will see geckos, mosquitoes, beetles, ants and hear the Coqui frogs at night. - Screens are typical for tropical homes and prioritize airflow with the trade winds; you may notice small gaps as part of that design. - We have cans in the carport to sort your rubbish for the transfer station located down the road with a trash shoot. - The hammock, chaise and small appliances are on lanais and get exposed to the weather, which can be wet if stormy outside.
