Walk out onto the 24x12' lanai and feel like you're standing on the ocean. You can often view sea turtles (Honu) swimming just below you. Open up the 20-foot sliding-glass doors for a seamless indoor/outdoor living space. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, love seat, and the most incredible views on this side of the island. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, a sofa that converts into a pull-out queen bed, and the ocean right outside your door. Bedroom 3 has two, twin trundles (four twin beds total) and its own private lanai. This unit is half of a two-unite duplex. (side-by-side). The other half of the Sea Cliff House is also an Airbnb unit which can be rented. This home is half of a two-unit townhome. Your vacation home has its own private entrance, kitchen, dinning room, living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, oceanfront lanai, and side yard. Only two vehicles are allowed, and use of the home is for registered guests only. Please be respectful of the neighbors and not allow other visitors to come to the home. We live in the house in front of the Sea Cliff House (in the modern house with teak-wood siding). We are on site for check-in, check-out, and to help you with anything you need during your stay. We live on a very unique street nicknamed the "Laie Point". It is a family-friendly neighborhood with some of the most amazing views on Oahu. This community is one of a kind. Very diverse and welcoming to visitors. The end of the point is one of the most well-known scenic spots on the island, and the site of a famous scene in the movie, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Laie has all the conveniences that make vacationing smooth while still allowing you to enjoy true country living where beaches are never crowded and the Aloha spirit is rich. The grocery store is right down the street, along with local food options and a small movie theater. Within a 10 minute drive is a choice of restaurants, from fast food shops (burgers, pizza, tacos), to an iconic local breakfast eatery (Hukilau Cafe), to world class dining (Roy's Beach House). You can also experience the Polynesian Cultural Center and an amazing zip-line just down the road. We can help you find local hikes, surf spots, snorkeling or any other island adventures you are interested in. Laie is the perfect North Shore spot for an amazing vacation. Great for families, couples, or groups of friends planning a get away. Humpback whale (Hawaiian: "kohola") season in Hawaii traditionally starts in November or December and runs through March. The first humpback whales of the 2017-18 season were sighted in early October. The Sea Cliff House has a spectacular view of a broad sweep of ocean where humpbacks are frequently seen. If you stay at our place during the whale watching season, keep your eyes peeled! Let us know how many whales you spot. Renting a car is the best option to explore the island. There is a bus stop at the end of the street if you need to use public transportation. The Sea Cliff house is a 2-unit, side-by-side townhome. The homes are virtually identical and both are hosted by Geoff. Because this home is part of a 2-unit townhome, we ask that you please respect the privacy and quiet (especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM) of those next door. We live in the front house, and we love sharing our neighborhood with guests who respect our property, community, and family-friendly environment. Two items that are strictly enforced are the two-vehicle limit, and the use of the home only to registered guests (please do not invite friends/family over who are not staying at the home without our prior consent).
