Some guests have stayed here and rarely left the property. There Is local entertainment every night at the hotel pool bar. Guests can check at the hotel and take advantage of other activities offered there. The beach here is beautiful and the safest during winter waves. This area is near many points of interest and we are glad to offer ideas and places to explore off the grid. PLEASE NOTE: there is a 13 percent hotel tax payable in cash to us at arrival. On the North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. Home of the best beaches, snorkel, surf swim etc. We're on the golf course across from a secluded beach. Turtle Bay resort hotel is steps away from us. We have a two story, two bedroom two bath unit. Close by are heated pools and tennis courts. We have 24 hour security and guest parking. Hotel ammenities, restaurants and shops are all on site. Beautiful vegetation and almost always balmy, breezy and warm. Internet, cable tv. furnished. We also have two horses a few miles away and sometimes take people on rides in our mountains with fabulous views ( weather permitting etc.) We enjoy hosting travelers and love meeting people from other parts of the world. We lost our little dogs a few years ago and now two cats have moved in with us. We do love animals and most people! One of the many things that make us so special is that we are really in the country but with many of the ammenitees of resort life. There are hiking trails, miles of pristene beaches, and great for bird watching. Many endangered species are within sight of our unit and yet we are only 45 miles from Honolulu. North Shore is more like an outer island and yet we have theaters, symphony, Universities and all the things that come from city life. We are on the bus route around the island. We are a few miles from Sunset Beach, Pipeline and Waimea Bay. Both my sons are Pro surfers so we have hosted guests from around the world for many years Now that we're retired we find it a great way to extend our Aloha to travelers and get to know new friends. Guests have use of pools and tennis courts. There is a grill at the pools for your use and a covered pavilion at the tennis courts with tables and chairs. Many of the hotel facilities are available for our guests, restaurants, shops and many rental recreation devices. We are usually here to welcome our guests. We try and be available as needed but we want guests to feel free to come and go uninterrupted. We love to learn about people from other places and will spend as much time as possible conversing. Our gated community on the resort grounds are abundant with tropical vegetation. Lots of colorful flowers that attract a multitude of birds, we even have a flock of small parrots that fly by every evening. This is a great place for long walks on the beach or in the woods next to the beach. You can rent horses and ride on the beach or take a surf lesson. People are friendly here! Our public bus system stops here every hour and goes clear around the island for a couple of dollars. You can rent a Segway at the hotel and mopeds. Gate entry - press 114 and red button for entry
