Off grid Eco cabin Big Island Hawai

Affordable lodging on the East side of the Big Island in Hawaii. 35 miles from the Hilo Airport. This cabin has a screened in sleeping area upstairs with a Queen bed. Downstairs is an open air kitchen with a four burner gas cook top( no oven) and an outdoor shower, flush toilet and sink. The space This is a great space to relax and unwind. No TV but there is full internet to stream on your devices. The kitchen is set up for basic cooking with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, a solar chest refrigerator, and an island for food prep. There is a four burner gas cook top but no oven. This part of Hawaii is lush and tropical. The ocean is one mile down a lovely old growth mango lined single lane. We are located in a green "island" within the recent lava flow of Kilauea Volcano with the islands most recently formed black sand beach located at the Isaac Hale Beach Park just down the road . Guest access The cabin is located on our five acre gated farm. It is located at the back of the property away from the two other homes on the property. You will have your own private bath and kitchen and are surrounded by a citrus orchard. Other things to note This is a very quiet, peaceful, rural environment. There is very little night life. . We are about 25 miles from Volcano National Park, 22 miles from Hilo and 12 miles from Pahoa.
