The unit's UV light adds a deeper level of air sanitation by destroying illness-causing microorganisms. Following this cleaning session, the room is completely closed until your arrival. Water quality is maintained through whole system UV and micron filtration. Fresh bath and beach towels, toiletries and linens are provided. You will need a vehicle to get to Hana and to visit the area's attractions. The roads are narrow and without sidewalks, so walking is not encouraged. Explore Hana Town and visit the local shops and food stands along the road. Visit amazing tropical wonders such as the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park, Hamoa Bay, the Pools at 'Ohe'o Gulch, and the unforgettable bamboo forest along the Pipiwai Trail in Kipahulu. Taste ono grinds and true organic vegetables and fruits at local markets. Meet the locals and experience what true Hawaiian culture and life is all about. Take note that the road to Hana is a long and winding one - both ways. Be prepared to spend a full day driving one way. We recommend driving the highway in its entirety, it is an experience in its own. The Ho'okipa Surf Suite is air conditioned, however, the windows are equipped with screens should you decide to turn off the AC.
