We are happy to take time and answer ones questions and assist in the enjoyment of your stay. We do not live in Dreams Come True. Dreams Come True is situated in the original Lanai City created in the 1920’s. In those days all the different peoples had “camps” or areas they lived. We are in the old Japanese quarter of Old Lanai City. Of course today, we all live as one. It’s very enjoyable to wander the quaint meandering streets, filled with peoples years of living, raising children and caring for elders. Flower gardens and vegetables in most, each home telling stories. Tall Cook Island pines tower above much of the Old Lanai City, today mixed in with avocado, mango, and even coconut palms, collected from our North End beaches, having floated over from Molokai. This little rarity of a City (3500 pop.) is nestled up against the foothills of our Hale, or our mountain peak. At sunset we can look west and across the vastness that once housed millions of the worlds sweet pineapple, we see the Pacific Ocean in all her glory. Sunsets can be stunning, but not each day. So, a visit to our Island, although she is smaller is not necessarily one that reviews her loveliness as soon as you arrive. Stay several days to really treat yourself. Located within a five minute walk to the center of Lanai City, where one can access shops, galleries, restaurants and a first class Theater. If you wish to have total privacy we suggest you rent the house in its entirety.......to truly export the island of Lanai, one does need to have a four wheel drive vehicle, or a four wheel drive tour can also be arranged. Suggest one brings one owns snorkeling gear.
