You have three bedrooms and three baths with a bonus hot water outdoor shower. You can work at the desk with views of palms and birds chirping outside. Meet outside on the lanais for drinks, and gather at the long extended table upstairs for lingering meals. Meander the garden and pick fruit from the papaya, sour sop, and citrus trees. Walk to the ocean secret beach for gorgeous Kona sunsets. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe yet close to everything. You will find lots of comforts of home like books, equipped kitchen, etc... as well as the authentic Hawaiian home neighbors like geckos inside and the occasional bug. You will have access to the entire house. The home has two units but share the backyard space and driveway. This is perfect for an extended family trip, or various couples. Two bedrooms are upstairs with the full kitchen, and one is downstairs with a kitchen as well. *note the reviews are from when this listing only gave access to the downstairs unit. We live one mile away and are also always available by text. This is a quiet residential area surrounded by resort area just steps from the ocean, a block walk to Keauhou Bay where you can take a tour for a manta ray dive, snorkeling trip, or charter fishing. Walk to Kona Sheraton for drinks or dinner on the ocean. From our home you could also walk to Keauhou shopping area with a grocery store, pharmacy, and many restaurants. Minute drive to the famous snorkeling beach and surf break, Kahalu'u. You should definitely rent a car to explore the Kona Coast. There is uber and a trolley that runs back and forth on Alii drive if you want to drink out in the town. -This space is full of careful details and love since it is our home, but it is important to note this is not resort living. -We don't have air con and rely on the trade winds and fans in the warmer summer months. This part of the island can be a hot at times, luckily you can walk to the ocean for a dip. -You might also be living with the harmless geckos that eat the bugs inside our home. Hawaii is the tropics, we keep a clean and tidy home, but there are bugs and the best way to keep them out is clean up all your food asap. Although you can walk to the supermarket and Keauhou Bay we HIGHLY RECOMMEND renting a vehicle to explore the island. Your trip will be very limited with out wheels from this location. Enjoy!
