Full kitchen: refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, flatware, dishware, coffee makers (Keurig, drip and pour over) toaster, blender, cookware, skillets, kettle, utensils, washer/dryer in unit and Free Hi Speed WIFI- 500 Mbps Download 20 Mbps Upload. On site Rec area: Saline Pool, Jacuzzi, BBQs, Gym, 2 assigned parking spaces, walk to Historic Kona village. Lic# 19-366300 Come and experience the well maintained grounds of Alii Cove, one of Kona's finest complexes. This location is perfect: across the street from Honl's Beach, 15 minutes drive from the airport, 10 minute drive to golf courses, tennis or shopping, 5 - 10 minutes walk into town to restaurants and amenities of the historic Kailua Village. Stroll along Alii Drive. Enjoy beaches, restaurants, shopping and a variety of water sports. Kona is home each year to the famous world class Bill Fish Tournament and the Iron Man Triathlon. Enjoy lounging by the resort style infinity pool in one of the many lounge chairs or in the jacuzzi while listening to the sounds of the ocean. Available are several large umbrellas for times when you need additional sun protection. There is an attached separate pool for children. The complex recreation area also includes a barbecue area and workout room. Enjoy the added sense of security knowing you are staying in a gated community. This is a great spot to make your home base for longer trips to the Big Island. Our 1200 sq ft, 2 bedroom 2 bath ground floor, single level unit is perfectly situated in the complex, parking is directly behind the unit, just a short walk to the recreation area and a few more steps to the beach across the street. The location of our condo within the complex is most convenient, as it is close to the pool area, but not right next to it, and close to the street, but not so close that you hear traffic noise. Soothing furnishings and a private extended and lushly landscaped lanai with tropical plants add to the relaxed and calming atmosphere. The Space: Entry: Ground floor entry means no steps or stairs. . Master bedroom: California King Bed, window air conditioner, black out curtains, storage bench, storage night stand with lamp, small dresser next to bed, arm chair, 2 separate mirrored walk in closets, carpet. Master en-suite bathroom: new double sink vanity and large walk in shower with built in seat. Second Bedroom: 2 twin beds, one nightstand with lamp, dresser, chair, full mirrored closet, carpet. Second bathroom has tub / shower combination, large vanity. Living room: Sofa bed, side chair, two end tables, flat screen tv, tile floor. Kitchen area: full size refrigerator, stove/oven combination, built in microwave, dishwasher, 3 bar stools at eat at counter area, breakfast table with 3 chairs, recessed lighting, tile floor. Laundry nook: Full Sized stacked washer/dryer. Lanai: The lanai is a beautiful setting for morning coffee while listening to the birds. Dining table and chairs seating for 6. Lush tropical plantings of good luck red and also green ti plants, crotons, palm tree and a sun shade that you can pull down to keep out the hot sun during the day yet can still get light and see through is quite and private. Parking: Two conveniently located assigned parking spots directly behind the lanai, one of which is covered. Ground floor unit: No stairs. The condo features a small ironing board with iron, complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish liquid, laundry detergent. We provide enough toilet tissue and paper towels to get you started initially ~ a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper and 1 new roll of paper towels. There are many stores nearby to purchase your supplies as needed. Deliveries: We do not provide residential mail delivery/ postal service to our mail box. Rent a post office box through the Kona Post Office or use the Amazon drop box located on Palani Drive for Amazon deliveries. We are NOT responsible for anything you ordered left behind. County of Hawaii ordinances are as follows: 1.) Good Neighbor Policy: a. Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM during which time the noise from the short terms vacation rental shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. b. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. c. Guest vehicles shall be parked within the designated onsite parking area. d. Failure to comply with the good neighbor policy stated above will be construed to be a violation. 2.) Revocation: a. A STVR registration or NUC may be revoked by the director in the event that: The STVR fails to comply with the condition of the registration and/ or nonconforming use certificate and or: i The use authorized under the approval has created a threat to the health, safety or welfare of the community ii The STVR fails to comply with any portion of HCC Chapter 25 or Planning Department Rule 23 STVR REGISTRATION NUMBER: STVR-19- 366200 TMK: 7-5-018 TMK number continued 008-0027 The location can't be beat - across the street from Honl's sandy beach and on the south edge of downtown Kailua-Kona on Alii Drive. The unit is in building E, a great location within the complex - close to everything (pool, beach), but far enough away from the main street = no street noise. Walking distance to all the great restaurants in Kailua-Kona: Lava Java is very good, Java on the Rocks on the sand is good for breakfast, check out Cheeky Tiki, Spinners and Kona Pasta all new in 2023. The Farmer's Market is a little further down Alii Drive, again walking distance, and is open a few days a week - great for fresh produce of all kinds! There is also a Farmer's Market on Friday mornings at the Keahoe Shopping Center. A trip to Volcano for viewing is worth the trip. Take a sweatshirt in case it's chilly or rainy there - it was for us and we weren't prepared for it. There is a seahorse farm not far from the airport. You need to call or check online to make sure when they're open for tours as it's only 2 or 3 days a week. At the end of the tour you get to hold a seahorse! There is a special Manta Ray dive at night that is spectacular. A submarine ride and the water parachute ride is available right on Alii Drive beach. Golfing is available at Keahoe ~ 10 minutes to drive. The green sand beach is a few hours drive away but needs a 4 wheel drive or a day's hike to reach once you're off road. It's at the Southern Most point in the US!~ Along the way, there's a GREAT restaurant called Hanna Hoi that makes great homemade bread and pies! I try to stop there every time I'm in the area as in going to the Volcano, the Green Sand Beach, or Hilo. Turtles love to rest on the Black Sand Beach! It truly is black and isn't too far away from Kona. Hilo takes almost half days drive but worth the trip. Take bug spray though because it's truly like a jungle in places there. There's a railroad museum near Hilo. The public gardens are beautiful! Various guidebooks and online sources can give you more information. I also send some of our favorite local spots closer to your arrival as well. The majority of appliances are Maytag. Aloha~ The condo itself is not shared with anyone outside of your group. Resort style pool, jacuzzi, bbq area and workout room are available to all tenants/ guests and are shared spaces. Two parking spaces ~ one covered/ shaded and one uncovered are free for your convenience and located directly behind the lanai. There are two gate entrances- one off Alii Drive and the other located at the top of the complex off of Walua Rd. Kona open air Shuttle stop is nearby on Alii Drive when operating I will be happy to answer e-mails, texts, and phone calls as quickly as I receive them. I am in communication with guests on an as needed basis~ what works best for my guests. Always open to help with questions, restaurant suggestions and touring ideas. I am also fine to leave the guests to their privacy, once I have confirmed that initial check in has taken place and guests are comfortable. This beautifully maintained complex is located across the street from Honl's Beach which is a wonderful spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets! A short 5 - 10 minute walk along Alii Drive brings you into the historic village for dinner. Huggo's is walking distance and right on the water. Lava Java is nice for breakfast. The Farmer's Market in Kona is open Wednesday - Sunday 7am -4pm located at the corner of Alii Drive and Hualalai in downtown Kona. Keauhou Farmer's Market is all local items Saturdays 8am - Noon, located in the Keauhou Shopping Center in front of Longs Drug Store. Walk: A short walk into Historic Kona Town for amazing dining, nightlife and more! Public Transportation: You can use the Kona Trolley which travels from the Sheraton Keauhou, with stops along Alii Drive, through the Old Industrial area, stopping at various points of interests along the way. This is a great way to get to know Kailua-Kona and to sight see and to shop at local businesses. Automobile: If you rent a car: Leave the airport and take the 2nd right onto Queen Kaahumanu Hwy/HI-19. (If you are on Keahole St and reach HI-19 you're too far) Stay on Queen K Highway for about 6.8 mi Turn right onto Palani Rd. ~ at the light (Palani Rd is 0.1 miles past Eho St) Palani Rd becomes Alii Dr. Stay on Alii for 1.5 mi 75-5919 ALII DR. is on the Left (slightly back off Alii Dr.) It is 0.3 miles past Lunapule Rd (If you reach Kaiolu Dr you've gone 0.2 miles too far) Once inside the gate, go straight through the traffic circle, take the 2nd driveway on the right (the 1st driveway to the right is in the middle of the circle). Park behind the second unit on the left (our lanai - Look for the red ti plants). One spot is covered and one uncovered. #E37 and #E38 Residential US Postal Service Delivery is not available for guests. If you need USPS delivery, please make arrangements to get a P. O. Box. If you need Amazon truck delivery service during your stay, for security reasons use an Amazon the drop box. One is located inside CVS Address: 75-5595 Palani Rd., Kailua Kona, HI 96740. We are not responsible for your mail or deliveries. We have a ring doorbell. This camera has a view of the front door and front entry area. Guests are responsible to pay all local and state taxes Hawaii occupancy taxes and general excise taxes are charged through the airbnb platform Our condo is a short walk to the complex rec area (pool, jacuzzi, bbq and gym); near Honl's beach. Condo location near all amenities yet not so close you get noise. An easy to walk to the Historic Kona Village and about 1 mile further to walk to the pier. Deliveries: We do not provide residential mail delivery/ postal service to our mail box. Nearby attractions include: the Seahorse Farm near the airport (look up online when they are open to the public), Glass Bottom Boat tour, Submarine Tour (both at the Kailua Pi(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) ), snorkeling at Captain Cook, and the Place of Refuge. It's worth the drive to go to the Volcano ~ you might want to spend the night there and get to know the area a bit more! The Southern Most tip of the US in on this island and near the Green Sand Beach! (either take a tour, rent a 4WD jeep, or hike for a distance) and definitely worth the effort! Also, the black sand beach is worth seeing - many large sea turtles! Stop by Hanna Hou's restaurant on the way to or from the Southern Most spot of the US - for delicious homemade bread, pies etc.
