The space ~ Aloha from Maui and welcome to SUITE DREAMS MAUI, Unit 152, a smoke free, legal vacation rental located in sunny Kihei. This is the LARGEST UNIT in the whole complex. The location is ideal! The only beach in Maui that was once reserved for Hawaiian Royalty is less than 200 footsteps (from the front door of your condo to the edge of the ocean)! This is a very popular beach for canoeing, kite surfing, viewing sea turtles and whales, or simply basking in the sun. Picnic tables, grilling areas, free parking, and outdoor showers are also available at this beach. Do as much as you want or as little as you desire. The National Humpback Museum and Maui's only Whale Education Center are also on this same beach, just steps away from the condo. Both places offer free educational classes and plenty of free, outdoor telescopes so you can get an "up close and personal view" of the Humpback Whales as they swim, jump, and play in the ocean just in front of the museum. ;) We also offer a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor showers and outdoor bathrooms at the pool, a BBQ area with picnic tables, a laundry center, very strong WIFI and fast internet speeds for online working (we have the highest, upgraded package), plus lots of fruit trees and beautiful, tropical, fragrant flowers. It is within walking distance (less than 2 miles) to EVERYTHING: shops, restaurants, beaches, public parks, grocery stores, the Whale Education Center, gas stations, kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, wind surfing, fishing, the "Triangle Night Life", medical facilities, banks, YOU NAME IT, it's all literally around the corner! In addition, if you jump in the car, you are just minutes away from Wailea (Maui's HIGH-END resort community with World Class golf courses). The airport in Kahului is only 10 miles away. For added convenience, there is also a bus stop right at the entrance of the condo complex. ~ SUITE DREAMS MAUI is a ground floor, corner unit with cold AC, lots of windows, and multiple ceiling fans. ~ Our condo sleeps up to 4 guests. There is a King bed and a brand new Queen sofa sleeper with an upgraded memory foam mattress which was purchased on January 12, 2025. Both beds offer very expensive and advanced zippered allergen barriers (mattress fabric encasements) that are 100% pesticide and chemical free and offer 100% protection against bed bugs, pollen, and dust mites. In addition, both our beds are equipped with HIGH thread count sheets. ~ Sorry, but no smoking allowed INSIDE the condo or on the lanai. ~ Please note this is a studio; therefore, the king bed and queen sofa sleeper share the same space (see photos). ~ For your convenience, there is a coin and credit card operated laundromat on site with 20 full-size machines. Our goal by providing "starter kits" for household paper products is to prevent the necessity for you to have to shop for these items during your first couple of days in paradise; after all, you are on vacation. Kihei Food Oasis at South Maui Gardens is just a couple miles south on South Kihei Road and Alahele Street. There are lots of food trucks there, and they are open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm with live music every Saturday. Other things to note Due to our property cleaners’ schedules and our regularly scheduled condo maintenance items, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Almost all of our bookings are back to back (same day in, same day out) which makes things trickier. Kihei has six miles of Sunkissed beaches. Kihei is less crowded. Kihei is considered to be much more “authentic Maui”. Kihei is more laid back. The longest beach walk in Maui is in Kihei. Kihei is more private, intimate, and affordable. Kihei has the least amount of rain of anywhere on Island and is much more laid back. Kihei is closer to: Haleakala (hiking), road to Hana, Iao Valley, and the airport. Kihei is also closer to Paia, Makawao, Upcountry, Kahului, and Maalaea. Kihei is only 15 minutes from the main airport in Kahului and Kaanapali is an hour. Kihei (the condo area of the south side) has more family restaurants than the condo area of the west side. Wailea (the luxury area of the south side) is a quieter area than Kaanapali (the luxury area of the west side). Higher end resorts like Four Seasons, Andaz, Grand Wailea, and Kealani are all in Wailea which is just 5 miles away from Kihei. Wailea also has world class golf courses and an award winning spa. The nicest shopping is also in Wailea (very upscale). Only one road in and out of the west side and if the road gets shut down due to an accident, you could be trapped.
