Private Home, Close to Downtown & Hospitals
This is a conveniently located, 2 bedroom home with a fenced backyard and off-street parking. It's stocked with everything you need for a short or long stay, and is close to hospitals, MSU Billings, downtown, parks, and grocery stores. Sleeps 3-4 guests comfortably, and up to 5 guests with the couch. Includes WiFi. You'll have access to the entire home, including the kitchen and laundry, as well as the fenced backyard and off-street parking. This listing is pet-friendly; please note that there is $15 pet charge, which has to be manually added to your reservation after booking The living room seats at least 5 comfortably, and has a large TV hooked up to a Roku smart-stick (you'll have access to Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime.) It's also hooked up to an Xbox 360, and comes stocked with an assortment of DVDs and games. There's also a collection of board games. The living room has both a window AC unit and a ceiling fan. The kitchen is a working kitchen. Along with pots, pans, various baking pans, dishes, and cutlery, it includes a microwave, a toaster over, an electric kettle, and a Keurig, with an assortment of coffee and tea selections. You also have access to a washer and dryer. The master bed includes a queen-sized Sleep Number mattress. There's extra bedding and pillows, an alarm clock, and a window AC unit. The bathroom is pretty small (even the doors are about 2/3 the width of a standard door), but there is a bathtub and a handheld shower head. It comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc., and there is a hairdryer. The library has a sleeper sofa, and the mattress has a new topper to increase comfort. You're welcome to read anything that catches your eye, and there's a kids' shelf with crayons and coloring books, some toys, books, Play-Doh and other activities (mostly ages 3-6). The utility room is equipped to handle canine guests - there's a crate, several leashes, doodie bags, and toys. There is also an ironing board and full length mirror. I have some camping gear stored here, which you're welcome to use, but I ask that if you do, you return in the condition it was in when you borrowed it. The back yard is fenced and stays shady during the hottest part of the day. There's also two parking spaces in the alley by the garage. You'll have access to the entire house (including kitchen and laundry), front and backyard, and off-street parking. The garage is used for storage and is not accessible. The property is within walking distance of Pioneer Park, which has a folf course, playground, kiddie pool, tennis courts, picnic and BBQ facilities, and a nice walking path. There's a bus stop 3 blocks away. It's about a 5 minute drive (or 15-20 minute walk) to downtown hospitals, MSU Billings, the YMCA, and Billings main downtown area. The airport and MetraPark Arena are each about a 7-10 minute drive. Self-check in is available, or I can be there to get you settled in. I'll be available after that if you have any questions, but you'll have the entire house to yourself and I'm usually pretty hands off. I *will* be by a couple of times a week to mow the lawn and water the front porch plants, but I won't come in the house, and the level of our interaction is up to you. This is a great, centrally located neighborhood! It's about 3 blocks from one of my favorite parks in Billings (Pioneer Park), about a 5 minute drive from downtown, MSU-Billings, and the hospitals, and about 7 minutes from the airport and the Metra. Billings is mostly driver-centric, but this house is an easy biking or walking distance from the hospitals, downtown, MSU Billings, and Pioneer Park. It's also about 3 blocks away from a bus stop. Lyft and Uber, as well as traditional taxi services, are also available. There's private parking in the alley behind the house. Street parking is also available out front, but please note that there's no parking on the north side of Lewis Avenue
