The Larch Pine Inn is rated as one of Iowa's "Top 10 Cozy Bed and Breakfasts" and currently Clear Lake's only true B & B with each guest room having an in-room private bathroom. You will find everything every thing you need in the kitchen to make your first cup of coffee - coffee pot, filters, filtered water, coffee cups/mugs, sugar/stevia and several creamers (in the fridge). The Harbor Room is on the first floor of this 1875 historic home that blends modern amenities with the charm and character of its romantic Victorian roots. All reservations include a 3-course traditional B & B breakfast served in the formal dining room or, when weather permits, on the wrap around screened-in porch. Guest access Larch Pine Inn guests are welcome to enjoy all the common areas at the Inn, including the wrap around screened-in porch, the parlor, sunroom, formal dining room, and half acre of beautifully manicured gardens with a back patio for grilling. This venue offers plenty of intimate spaces to curl up in with a good book or lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. And plenty of public spaces inside and out to entertain friends and family, depending on your needs. Other things to note Your stay includes a traditional 3 course breakfast at the Larch Pine Inn B&B served on our wrap around, screened-in porch (when weather permits) or our formal dining room on days with inclement weather. The menu changes daily. Prepared fresh daily. We will gladly try to accommodate most food allergies. However, all food is prepared in the same kitchen, ovens and using the same utensils, because of this, we cannot guarantee there will not be cross-contamination. The Harbor Room is on the first floor. There are three steps at the screened-in porch door and another half step into the house. After this there are no steps on the first floor. The Harbor Room has a fixed grab bar for the tub/shower.
