The Suite Aloha island retreat was designed with beach cottage charm in mind. The bungalow is designed to be our guest suite when friends and family come and so, the plates, silverware, wine glasses, bedding, towels, etc. are all good quality. Also included are: Washer/dryer (shared) TV w/Roku Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and cooler, an iron and ironing board, blow dryer, etc. are all provided for your convenience, so you may pack light. In addition, you may Leave Your Golf Clubs at Home! Why pay for high baggage fees and experience the hassle of lugging your golf clubs through airports -- not to mention the risk of loss or delays. Full sets of quality golf clubs are available to rent at affordable rates. Brands such as Titleist, Taylormade, Mizuno, Hogan, MacGregor, and Wilson are on hand for you to select. You get a free new sleeve of balls too! This is a wonderful retreat for a maximum of 2 respectful, easy-going, non-smoking individuals (since we request no smoking anywhere on the property). The BBQ grill and beach gear are for your exclusive use during your stay. Washer and dryer are available to the back of the property. Access to Suite Aloha is tailored to each guest and will be communicated after booking. Interaction depends on the guest. Our home is open and we are happy to talk story at any time. We have had guests that come over to catch us up on their day and experiences and stayed for dinner, while others kept completely to themselves. We live in Kailua Estates, a charming and established residential neighborhood. Downtown Kailua with an abundance of shops and restaurants and two of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Kailua and Lanikai Beach – are in walking distance. Join the walkers, joggers, and bicyclists - we are an active beach town and our neighborhood reflects that. Because we are close to downtown, major bus connections are just around the corner from our home. The circle island bus tour is a popular route. If you just want to stay in Kailua, we can recommend bicycle rentals, or, if you just want one or two days of car rental, we can recommend a national rental company that has offices in Kailua. Uber/Lyft have become popular transportation modes to/from the airport, or, we can recommend a more private transportation form. Just let us know what you have in mind and we can guide you.
