Elegant whimsical and comfortable, our land is filled with orchards, gardens, jungle, walking paths, waterfalls and horses. Powered by the sun, we host events with local and world renowned practitioners of music, dance, yoga, healing and horses. Though we are completely powered by Solar, we have an abundance of energy to efficiently run this Very Large Home and property. The high ceilings, archways and over 4700 feet of square footage allow abundant space for many things to be happening, like Hula practice in the Foyer/Lanai, business meetings in the study or entertainment room, cooking and dining and TV watching or computer study. We block off dates when the whole house/sanctuary is booked for retreats and events. If you are staying in just one or two of our rooms, you will have shared access to the public areas within the main house as well as over 5 acres of gardens, orchards and walking paths. We set out breakfast for our short term guests, we offer locally harvested coffee and teas and you are welcome to gather seasonal fruits and vegetables and herbs from our orchards or gardens for your own personal consumption. In the kitchen, there is designated shelves in the cupboards and refrigerator for each room and plenty of space/cookware/blenders/vitamix/juicers/cutting boards for up to 5 people to be cooking comfortably at the same time, so if there happens to be others staying in rooms when you are here, there is no shortage of space or tools for you to have a comfortable and convenient stay. The owners suite is independent of the main area of the house and at the farthest end from the guest rooms. Our sanctuary is a peaceful place for you to reset, restore and heal your heart and soul. We hope that you will take all of the private time that you need. Our house is big enough that a dozen people can be inside and not need to interact at all. That being said, we love to connect with you regarding amazing places to visit on the island, things to do as well as book you for any of our on-site services, such as Garden to Spa services, Massage Therapy, Integrative Medicinal Detox protocols, Ozone Therapy, Horseback Riding Lessons, Horse whispering...and more. Papaaloa is a creative farming community utilizing many organic, biodynamic and farm to table practices...Papaaloa Country Store and Cafe is just down the road from us and has everything you need from groceries to breakfast to the best pizza on the island to gifts made by local artists to music nights every Friday and friendly service. Papaaloa is lush and tropical with breathtaking views of the ocean and a central location to visit some of the most breathtaking locations on the planet. From our home you can watch Hawaiian Hawks (io) surfing our air currents and teaching their young aeronautics. You can see whales breaching and epic sunrises and moonrises a and you can watch our horses grazing, playing and sleeping. Though we have pets, our house is very clean and, even those with strong allergies have not had reactions while staying here. There are many scenic parks, waterfalls, and other interesting sights located 15-20 minutes from our home. There is public transportation available at the bus stop located five minutes from our home and within walking distance. The bus travels the entire island and schedules are available at our home.
