Guest suite in Kurtistown

Studio built in 2017 between Hilo & Volcano in wooded area of Hawaiian Acres. The space has a futon couch and a separate bathroom with a shower. Area has small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, etc. bar kitchen. As a guest a vehicle is necessary to get here. 1.5 mile drive from paved road. A four wheeled drive is not necessary. My place is 2-3 miles from the bus route and a taxi or Uber is very expensive, and they may not come to my place. The space Owner lives in main house, the studio is separate. There is a picnic table outside for guest use. TV & Wifi. Parking is next to the house. I have two outdoor cats that are 3 years old. When driving do not use road C (Poola) it’s very bad and your vehicle may not make it. Use B (Kea) which is listed in the directions. I will send you directions after you book. Guest access Private cottage next to main house. Owner is available to answer questions either by text or phone. Other things to note The closest store/gas station is a several miles away.
