The two closest towns are Na’alehu (7 miles South) and Pahala (5 miles North).  Walk to the world famous Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, and swim with the green sea turtles which bask on the beach all day long. All short drives from the resort: Green Sands Beach, South Point Cliffs, Kilauea Volcano, Ka’u Coffee Mills, and so much more. Greens Sands Beach is the only natural beach in the world that encompasses beautiful green sand made out of olivine crystals.
