#2 Green Sands Oasis Cabin #2

Aloha, Cabin 2! Enjoy an "old Hawaii" style stay on our organic farm. We are blessed to have a lush property with a garden and fruit trees. We have a large patio with dining and sitting areas to listen to the abundant birds singing. Cabin 2 is a smaller cabin with a full size bed and a private bathroom with a separate entrance. We are only 8 miles from Green Sands Beach and only 40 minutes from Volcano National Park! We have 6 other listings available! The space We want our future guests to know that our cabins are very basic but very comfortable and clean; a typical “Old Hawai’i” experience. We have an open/outdoor kitchen with a large, well-lit dining area. We have everything you need to cook meals and also have a refrigerator to keep your food cold. Please respect our community kitchen and clean up after yourselves. Our farm is a wonderful place to stay with an abundance of nature down here at the southern-most tip of the United States. Our WiFi is good but if you need it inside the cabins, we suggest you bring a mobile hotspot to avoid unnecessary frustration. DO NOT USE GPS! Please follow my directions as GPS seems to get people lost: Follow Highway 11/Hawaii Belt Rd until you reach South Point Road. Continue for about a mile and a half. You will see a wooden sign that says Green Sands Oasis. The address is 93-2073. You will turn into the driveway and into our place. Please park in the area facing the road (which will be immediately to your right as you pull into the driveway). Across from the parking area you will see a lit pathway in front of the banana trees with a sign labeled “CABINS”. Follow this to the cabins. PLEASE RESPECT OUR QUIET HOURS (9pm - 8am)! If you will be arriving after dark, please text me and let me know. I will leave your outside cabin light on and be mindful of other guests that may be sleeping when you arrive. Mahalo! Guest access We live on our property further up the driveway. Our property consists of an old orange farm. The orchard is mostly covered since it was neglected for years, but you can ask permission to hike the property. Other things to note This area of the island is more remote, so whether you are coming from Hilo or Kona, you may want to stock up on groceries or snacks before heading down this way. There are two small markets located in Ocean View, which is 10 miles before Naalehu coming from Kona. We are always happy to give anyone detailed description. Cabin #2 is a small cabin with a full size bed (slightly smaller than a queen). Not much room around the sides of bed. There is a private bathroom that has a separate locked entrance. It is outside and right next to the cabin. Key to rooms are on the keychain in the cabin. This is a rustic, tropical setting. There will be bugs and and small wildlife around.
