Located just north of Hilo, the Studio stands alone for your quiet enjoyment and retreat on a family estate and farm on acreage with a shared saline pool & hot tub for your use from 7am to Sunset. The view is spectacular! From the bedroom you can look out across the lanai that drops 250 feet almost straight down (NOT for the faint of heart). There are many fruit trees from which you are welcome to gather, including citrus, banana, papaya, avocado and more. It is truly a unique location, one of the only heavily forested pieces of coastline north of Hilo left that is both close to the ocean and close to town, yet the views and sounds make it feel like you’re a million miles from civilization. The Studio has everything one could possible need for their vacation of solitude to reset your clock and get away from the hustle and bustle of the Big City. The master bedroom (the only bedroom) has a Queen bed and views from every window. The lanai off the master has an unobstructed view of the gulch and valley below, with towering palm trees rising, and seating for 2 – perfect for morning coffee or tea. The sounds of the river and waterfalls are simply indescribable. A full kitchen with modern appliances and accoutrements is just waiting for you to prepare and cook every wonderful island meal you can dream of, with seating for two staring at the ocean, blue. The bathroom features a beautiful stand-up river stone shower, perfect for one, or even two. The home also has all the amenities one might need including a washer/dryer and basic internet access. There are hiking trails and waterfalls to explore, too! Must be sure-footed and a healthy, smart-hiking type. Please Note: This entire estate and farm are completely off-grid and powered by solar, Wifi may go down due to weather. Please expect to share your space with some of our friendly Hawaii geckos, lizards, birds, and plants.
