Our home is in a quiet, comfortable, older neighborhood with easy access to many great local attractions, such as the world-famous Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head Crater. We are very centrally-located and are within walking distance of the trendy social atmosphere of Monsarrat Ave.& Diamond Head Crater. There are many easy ways to get around, including rideshare, bikeshare, or bus. If you would like to rent a car, you are also welcome to make use of the free parking spot in our covered carport. The space PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST to a MONTH TO MONTH RENTAL. Must have 2 or more good reviews from the Host. CONTACT US IF CALENDAR DOES NOT SHOW YOUR DATES AS AVAILABLE. In compliance with Honolulu City and County Bill 89, we welcome 31 days of renters. The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 31 days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. The 31-day rental period will be communicated to the guest upon booking. Questions contact owner NOTE: All guests are required to pay the State General Excise. State GE Tax is included with our Nightly/Daily rate price. “Early Check-Ins” and “Late Check Outs” should always be arranged and confirmed in advance. If available, there will be a special price for the extra hours. Standard Check-In is anytime after 3 pm. Standard Check-Out is no later than 11 am. If you need an earlier or later checkout please inquire ASAP, there would be a cost for this as we almost always fill our stays with back to back reservations. After booking our place: you will be contacted one week before your arrival for your check-in instructions. Our house is the perfect place to come home to and relax after a day at the beach or sight-seeing around the island. Our home is a balance between indoor and outdoor living, with doors wide open to the Hawaii sun and tropical tradewinds. You will have access to the separated locked off east wing of the first floor of our home via your own two private entrances. Bedroom 1: Can be rented by itself for 1-2 people. - sliding doors open to the solar-heated saltwater swimming pool, hot tub, and shaded wet bar/ small kitchen area. You can access this room from outside with key locked sliding doors. - has a new king-sized memory foam Balinese bed and its ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a new Balinese queen bed with a memory foam mattress. Private hallway bathroom: Both bedrooms 1&2 will have access to the private hallway bathroom with a full-sized shower that opens with a sliding door to the garden, outdoor shower, and pool access. The yoga/exercise room: - is the entry room to access room 1 & room 2. (Room 1 can also be accessed with key locked sliding doors if desired). - is between bedrooms 1&2. - it has sliding doors that open up to the side entry garden deck which leads to/from the carport and pool area. Guest access You are welcome to use: Outdoor but covered wet bar and (partial covered) deck area Solar-heated saltwater swimming pool and hot tub Outdoor shower Single burner hot plate 4k Roku TV Mini refrigerator Keurig coffee maker Microwave Toaster Washer/dryer upon request Clothing dryer for rainy days, otherwise line-dry Beach chairs/towels/mat Boogie boards Blue cooler Other things to note Our rate price is included with GE so it’s all flat rate. Please note that we do not have protective fencing around our pool. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. -a couple of blue pool floats, boogie boards, etc., are available for use AT YOUR OWN RISK. The 3 indoor rooms do have ceiling fans and can be opened up to let the trade winds cool the space. AIR CONDITIONING: For the hotter days, we have a new split unit air conditioning system for the 3 rooms to keep you comfortable. Keep all windows and doors CLOSED while running AC. Porch wood deck can be slippery when wet so be very careful when walking around. BUGS, INSECTS, CRITTERS, and so forth likes to live in a tropical climate: You’ll find them in parks, streets, residential areas, buildings, etc. They are everywhere in the Hawaiian Islands. We don’t like them at all either, but we keep them at bay by having a Terminix company come quarterly to do pest treatment and with your cooperation keeping the place clean and tidy. We do get up early in the morning to make breakfast in another section of the house before leaving, but we are very respectful and shouldn't be a bother for you!
