This large 19’ x 15’ bedroom suite on the ground floor has a very comfortable Queen sized bed, futon, guest controlled a/c and heat, private en suite bath , closet, 60" TV and mini-fridge. Our Room 1 guest room is our most popular and for good reason. It has a comfortable queen bed and attached private bathroom. There’s a 60" TV, DVD player & Firestick with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and many other streaming channels. The room has its own separate sliding door entrance with keypad code. There are dual portable air conditioners and two ceiling fans . Heat and A/C are guest controlled so you'll always be comfortable. The curtains are thermal and light blocking to help keep the room cool and dark. Or you can open them to brighten the room. It has an interior locking door for privacy and an empty closet for guests use. The bathroom is attached and private just for you with locking doors. We're within walking distance to Look Park. Downtown Northampton is just 3 miles away. Guests can enter through the front door using a provided keypad code or enter from the back through a private sliding door with the same keypad code. Guests entering the front door pass through the dining area and may use this area for eating their takeout food or morning coffee. Guests may also use the back patio or yard. The kitchen or other parts of the home are not for guest use. We'll give you all the privacy you want. If you desire to be by yourself, we won't bother you. You will have plenty of peace and quiet. But, we're normally close by if you need anything or have questions about the house or the area. This 3200 square foot single family home is located on a quiet street in the Florence section of Northampton. Easy walk to Look Park and a bike path. Three miles from Smith College. One mile from Florence center where there are numerous restaurants, stores, pie shop, coffee shop, etc. Free parking available on our quiet, dead end street or in our two driveways. Public transportation close by. Several local cab companies, Uber and Lyft cover the area as well. The home has 61 solar panels that provide all the needed electricity. We're connected to the grid and have a backup generator so there's always plenty of power. Our boiler is set up so there's plenty of hot water. The entire home has a strong Wi-Fi high speed internet connection.
