Stone(d) Retreat for Writers and Artists

Everyone is welcome! We are dog-friendly, vegan-friendly and 420-friendly 👍🏽🏳️‍🌈🌱🧜🏽‍♀️ The space Highlights: Enormous kitchen lounge takes center stage with multiple work spaces and other details and surprises. Garden views. Screened in back porch. Stained concrete floors on first level. Large oversized dining room table. Living room with grand fireplace with glass doors. The upstairs bath is also interesting. Oversized open room with Airbath easily fits two. Two full king-sized bedrooms. One small *jewel box* bedroom mini-library: features one queen canopy bed. The antique day bed in upstairs foyer is good for day dreaming and naps. Downstairs is another full bathroom. Living room has sofa bed. Note: Entire house has a semi-open floor plan. Still, the space is sprawling enough so that at least two couples can have total privacy. Mod meets Baroque meets Conscious. Art-funk/wabi-sabi/shabby-chic. ECO-AWARE. Non-human animals: Reasonably well-behaved dogs of all sizes and descriptions are welcome, other species of pet not necessarily a problem since the majority of our guests are super-considerate. Good to know - we are on five natural wooded acres, with town forest behind us. We let the bats, frogs, dragon flies and wild turkeys do much of the tick and mosquito control. Not pesticides. If our neighbors behave (and we really do have nice neighbors) it is often completely(!) quiet. Note: Our *Stone Palace* has a private back yard with a fire pit and fascinating garden art. In the front it shares a half-acre with the converted garage “wood shop” apartment and an (adorable!) multi-colored A-frame guest cabin which may be available as well (separate listing). Guest access You have the gardens, the woods, the Swing, cold dips in nature tub maybe available. Large working fireplace. Very modest media center, really just a large smart tv in living room. A smaller older tv with Chrome cast in the kitchen area so you can cast at will from your smart phones.
