The Marquand room is one of our two rooms with a private entrance. Located on the second floor, the room features its own deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and gazebo. This room has a King-sized bed. The room is named after the Pulitzer-prize winning writer, J.P. Marquand, famous for his series of fictional books of the 1930 and 1940s. Perhaps this Newburyporter’s most famous character was Mr. Moto, a competitor in the 1930s to Charlie Chan. The Clark Currier Inn is an historic house in an historic city.
