The King Oliver Guest House

Experience New Orleans at its finest at the King Oliver Guest House, located within sight of the French Quarter and just three blocks from Bourbon Street’s iconic Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar. Nestled in the historic Treme neighborhood, this guest house is a tribute to jazz legend Joe “King” Oliver and offers the perfect combination of authentic charm and unbeatable location. The King Oliver Guest House features a spacious king bedroom, a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, and a luxurious full bathroom with a shower. The space boasts historic exposed brick walls and beams, offering a true New Orleans atmosphere. Step outside to enjoy a shared patio within the private, gated compound. Whether you’re exploring the nearby French Quarter, dining at world-class restaurants, or soaking in the vibrant jazz scene, this guest house provides a tranquil retreat just steps from the action. The Commons, the lobby building at the center of the property, becomes the hotel’s bar and restaurant in fall 2026, with a chef-driven menu, cocktails, and courtyard seating, open to hotel guests and the public. It is under construction until then and is not available to guests. Each guest house includes a microwave and coffee maker; a mini fridge, ice maker, and wine glasses are available on request.
