Welcome to this charming home near the downtown square of Winterset, Iowa. Known for The Bridges of Madison County, this town offers so much to do in a weekend. Our little town offers two wineries, two taprooms, a cidery, a brewery, a meadery and a Speakeasy. Many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors on the sweet little front porch of this home, shopping the square (just 4 blocks away), visiting bridges, hiking the Winterset City Park 2 mile loop or a picnic by the quiet Cedar Lake. This bungalow was just recently remodeled and provides a peaceful retreat! The primary bedroom has a king bed, tv and attached half bath. The 2nd bedroom features a "cloffice" for office use or cosmetic & hair purposes. It has a day bed with trundle (see photos). There is a full bathroom in between the bedrooms. The living room features a 65" TV. The kitchen has a Keurig with K-cups included or bring your own favorite flavor. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils and pots/pans. Currently the yard is being reworked, however the front porch is a darling space to enjoy coffee or wine!
