Spacious 1763 house in the town that time forgot

This large traditional New England home is perfect for visiting the nearby schools or just hanging out with the family. Set on 11 acres of perennial gardens, fields, and stone walls, it offers ample space for your family to relax. You can explore the miles of wood trails , swim in the nearby ponds or just swing in the hammock on the lawn. In side there are large rooms, historic wide pine floors, a big kitchen, a fully stocked library with games, and a wood fireplace in the open living room. The space After parking in the large back parking area, you enter through the screen porch to the large entry room and then to the main floor living area areas. Upstairs, there are four available large bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a full tub and shower, and the other with an ornamental clawfoot tub. There is an adjacent care taker apartment on the premises and the care taker couple can answer questions. Guest access One room on the first floor, one bedroom on the second floor, and the pantry are private. There are laundry facilities, but only for long term guests and on request only. The rest of the house is available. Other things to note This is a historic home used by the family. Guests should be respectful of its contents . Because of the very old wide pine flooring, guests are required to take off their shoes in the mudroom before entering the house. Please also be respectful of the caretaker , and limit noise. There are no animals or smoking allowed in the house .
