Enjoy the beautiful pond up close with an evening cruise ;) We have upgraded the TV package to include the Red Sox by popular demand. The house was completely renovated, with new kitchen, granite counter tops, stainless Bosch appliances, etc. The house has a large tranquil backyard which backs to a beautiful private pond with tons of wildlife, and huge outdoor deck with charcoal grill to watch it from. The house has two living rooms, a dining room and kitchen in addition to the three bedrooms. One upstairs bedroom has a queen size beds, the other upstairs bedroom has a queen and two twins, and the downstairs bedroom has 3 twin size beds. There are three full baths. The house is about a half mile from the Cape Cod melody tent, and about a 5 minute drive to the big Hyannis Craigville beach. For rent by owner, it comes furnished and sheets/ bath towels are provided. There is wireless internet and a flat screen TV with cable. A wonderfully relaxing place, quiet with great air, you will fall asleep and awake to the sounds of the frogs and the birds from the forest and the pond. The level of the water in the pond during summer might be low (due to global warming) that does not allow to use canoe but spring time is still good. Fishing: You can go fishing in the pond but you need a fishing license.    I recommend rubber worms or surface bait like jitterbugs as the pond is full of weeds.  There are a number of small bass in the pond and some sunfish. I highly recommend the bait and tackle store right around the corner between the pizza place and the cape cod melody tent.  They could also recommend you someone to go deep sea fishing with.  I haven't done it yet but I want to.   Let me know what your experience is. They are always helpful with questions from fishing to clamming. Guests have access to the main part of the house (there is an in-law unit as well which is not part of the rental). There is a canoe with paddles in the back, lawn and deck furniture, bbq grill, fully equipped kitchen, TV with 100+ channels, Dvd/blu ray, cable, stereo, front and back yard. It is your own home. Laundry in basement. We just ask to not use or let the kids into the basement workshop with our tools, fishing poles, etc. Guests are left alone and have the place to themselves. If I have to get into the house for any maintenance issues you will know in advance. Quiet, serene, nice neighbors. There is conservation land behind the property with a private pond. There is all sorts of wildlife from deer to turtles, with a wide, wide range of birds from swans and geese, to woodpeckers, cardinals, hawks, etc. Close to grocery stores, beach, restaurants, Cape Cod Melody tent and Main st. Hyannis. Craigville Beach is less than a 5 minute drive. No Pets. InLaw Apartment/Caretaker: We have a retired lady and her gentle dog who lives in the in law apartment which has a completely separate entrance. You may see her in the driveway or doing laundry in the basement. Neither she nor the cleaning people will come into the home while you are enjoying it. When you arrive, you will find a lockbox on the front door with the key inside. We will give you the code to the lockbox at check in. To open the lockbox, you punch in the numbers or letters then pull down the spring loaded lever and then pull out to open the front panel.
