Cranberry Lake Living Cranberry Lake is a private, spring-fed lake known for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and peaceful summer days by the water. While the home is lakefront with private access, the house itself does not have a direct lake view due to a small natural rise between the home and the shoreline. A short set of stairs leads over this gentle hill to your private dock and lake access, where the views open up beautifully. There is a hill between the house and the lake, you walk up and down a staircase to get to the lake. The area off the dock itself is a bit vegitative due to being shallow, we have a kayak and paddle board to get out deeper where the swimming is much more enjoyable. We want all guests to be very aware that there is sea vegitation around the dock and shore line and you need to get out deeper for open swimming. The house doesn't have direct lake views from inside the house. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin, along with the private driveway, yard, and outdoor living areas. The home includes private lakefront access via a short path and stairs that go over a small natural hill leading down to the water. At the shoreline, guests enjoy a private dock and private beach area exclusively for this home. Additional guest access includes: Outdoor seating areas Fire pit and yard space for games One outdoor shed stocked with yard and outdoor games for guest use All listed areas are for guest-only use during your stay. Other things to note 🌡️ Heating & Cooling The thermostat operating range is 68–75°F. The system may lock out if set below or above this range to protect the equipment. 🗑️ Trash & Disposal: All trash must be bagged and placed in the designated trash cans. Trash cans must always be kept strapped and secured due to local wildlife, including bears. Trash pickup is Tuesday. Recycling is collected every other Friday. Failure to properly dispose of trash or ensure trash is put out may result in an outside contractor being sent for pickup, at the guest’s expense. 🚭 Smoking & Vaping No smoking or vaping indoors, including THC of any kind. A significant ozone remediation fee will apply for any indoor smoking or vaping. ⏰ Check-Out Please adhere strictly to the scheduled checkout time. $50 Fee for late checkout. Late checkout is not available for this property due to cleaning schedules. 🛶 Lake Access & Stairs The home offers private lakefront access via a path and steps leading down to the dock. Guests use the stairs, dock, and lake at their own risk. Children must be supervised at all times near the water. ⚠️ Liability & Use of Property Guests assume all responsibility for use of the home, yard, dock, lake access, and amenities. By booking, guests agree to hold the owner, host, and co-host harmless for any injury, accident, or loss related to use of the property or lake. **Wifi router/driveway camera/vape detector are to stay plugged in, this is a mandatory requirement of our homeowners insurance, if unplugged we will ask once to please plug it back in, after that we have to dispatch a contractor who charges $250 for the service call to come plug it back in**
