The Silo on the Big Hole River

This unique silo was originally used to store grain and has been converted into a beautiful cabin. The silo is located on the banks of the beautiful Big Hole River. Step out the front door and cast a line into this blue ribbon fishing stream. You will be staying on a working agriculture facility which is home to cattle, pigs, horses, dogs, cats and a curious rooster. As a bonus, there are several secluded fishing spots you will have access to. Come enjoy this very unique part of Montana! The space When you enter the red door you will be greeted with a futon, television, unique dining bar and kitchen area (compact refrigerator and freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and bottled water). The futon could comfortably fit one adult or two children. Head up the curved staircase to the loft where you will find a comfortable queen sized bed with luxurious bedding. Step out onto the deck and sip your morning coffee while watching the fish jump out of the river. You may even get a visit by our dwarf pig, Rosebud, or her mama, Ruby. Both girls are very friendly and love marshmallows and cereal. The days here are made for fishing, which you can do right out your front door or use the adjacent boat ramp to launch a day of floating the river. There's nothing like a Montana evening. Enjoy the sky full of stars, with virtually no light pollution, while snuggled by the roaring campfire. If you are lucky, the northern lights may even make an appearance. This is Montana "roughing it" meaning you will have access to a port-a-potty and showers at a nearby campground. Other things to note There is not an indoor bathrorom in the silo however, you will have access to a port-a-potty and offsite showers at a nearby campground.
