Newly updated home with 2 bedrooms - one queen bed and the other with a twin daybed that includes a trundle bed. Enjoy the soothing atmosphere, complete with a front porch, fire pit and large yard to get some fresh air. A desk and office chair is in the main bedroom for all your work or school needs. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. You will be centrally located to all the grocery stores, local restaurants and pubs! Local recommendations upon arrival. Monthly rate available The space PARKING/OUTDOORS: Upon arrival, you will notice plenty of parking space that can accommodate 3 vehicles. Parking is allowed on the street if necessary. Please note: If you are staying with us during winter months, please do not park along the street. You will notice a firepit in the yard. Wood is available at local gas stations. We ask that you put any fire out at the end of the night before leaving it unattended. WHAT'S PROVIDED: We have provided many necessities to make your stay better! We have a standard coffee pot with plenty of coffee and filter's set out for your stay with us. If you are staying for an extended period of time, it may be a good idea to bring additional or even your favorite blend! There is shampoo/conditioner available, as well as a hair dryer. We also provide q-tips, cotton balls, hand soap, dish soap, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. DIGITAL GUIDEBOOK: There is a digital guidebook that has recommendations for things to do and see in our area. We have included some of our own favorite restaurants and pubs. GUEST ACCESS: Guests have keypad access through the back door nearest the driveway. You will receive a code that is unique to you starting at 3pm the day of check in. This code will no longer work after 11am on the day of check out. This code will be included in your check-in instructions that will be provided via Airbnb messaging. IOWA WEATHER: If you are visiting us for the first time in the winter, please note that travel can be more difficult. Allow for additional travel time if there is snow or ice present. If we happen to get any accumulating snow, please do not park on the street. The plows need to clean the streets and a tow ban will go into effect within 24 hours. If you are visiting us for the time in the Spring/Summer, our weather can be unpredictable. It can get very humid in Iowa so prepare for the heat! In the event that we have severe weather and you experience tornado warnings/sirens, please take shelter in the basement underneath the stairs. If this scenario were to happen, we will be in communication with you. HOUSE RULES: - No Pets - No smoking inside the home - Put out any fire remaining in the firepit with water - Please follow check out list located on the fridge Sometimes things come up!
