The Guest House At The River Road Oaks

Enjoy the spacious, private experience of the Guest House at River Road Oaks, a historic property on the scenic River Road in St. Charles Parish. Minutes from I-310, twenty five minutes from the Superdome and in the midst of the historic River Parishes. It's a magnificent two bedroom, two bathroom upstairs guest house overlooking approximately fifteen acres of private beauty. The space Rockers on the front and rear porches provide a tranquil place to relax and take in the scenery. A charcoal grill is on the ground level for guests' use. Please provide your preferred charcoal products. There is a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of complimentary coffees. A standard coffee maker is provided for those who prefer a brewed pot. Also available is an electric water kettle, a toaster oven, a microwave and a Ninja air fryer. Both bedrooms are appointed with wonderful linens. Bathrooms also have ample linens and basic toiletry supplies (ie. shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and toilet tissue). There is high speed internet on the property with a large screen TV in the living room and master bedroom. Guests may stream their own services on these devices. Guest access The Guest House is upstairs. Visitors have access to the entire upstairs. The garage and wood shop downstairs are not accessible. Guests have full use of both front and rear porches, along with the large parking area in front of the garage doors. They may also walk the entire estate less the immediate yards around the Main House and Hunna House (at the rear of the estate). Guests are also welcome to cross the River Road onto the Mississippi River Levee to enjoy the paved walking path with spectacular views of the river. Other things to note Municipal garbage collection is done on Monday and Thursday. Please place only lined trash in the rolling bin downstairs. The property help will bring the bin to and from the road. No smoking or deep frying of food in the guest house. Smoking shall only be done on the grounds and cleanup if required. No illegal or recreational drug use allowed. No filming productions of any kind. No parties. The private road has a maximum speed limit of 5MPH. BBQing/grilling must be done downstairs near the parking area in the established area.
