Welcome to your New Jersey getaway! The entire lower level of our home is yours to enjoy, a private 850 sq ft space with a separate entrance. Unwind on the comfy sectional sofa after a day of exploring, or challenge your family and friends to a game of foosball. The living area also features a dining table, TV, board games, cards, and puzzles for endless entertainment. There is a portable laptop tray and children's' toys/books available. Your suite includes two bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Features a Queen-sized bed and a TV. This room also has a fan and an iron in the closet. Bedroom 2: A versatile room with a convertible couch that transforms into a queen-size bed, plus a ping pong table and darts for some friendly competition. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with dark wood cabinets, refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. We have a 5-cup coffee maker, mini-Keurig, tea kettle, and toaster. We also offer coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (see photos for specifics). The bathroom features bold geometric tiles and a modern glass corner shower. The shower has body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and shaving gel. You can find towels, extra toilet paper, baby wipes, and hair dryer in the wooden cabinet. The vanity mirror cabinet has some useful items in case you forgot to bring something. Please note, the suite does not have a dishwasher or a laundry machine. Guest Access You will have access to the lower-level of our home, which includes a private entrance located at the back of the house. Self check-in with keypad code. Free driveway parking is available for one to two standard cars on the left side of the driveway. The Neighborhood Our home is perfectly situated for both nature lovers and city explorers. You can walk to the nearby hiking trails at Eagle Rock Reservation where at the top you are rewarded with views of the NYC skyline. We are also just a short drive from numerous attractions: 10 min to the NJT train station for easy travel. 12 min to a family fun complex with a zoo, indoor ice skating, mini-golf, and a treetop adventure course. 15 min to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). 20 min to the Prudential Center 25 min to MetLife Stadium and American Dream Mall. 45 min to the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Important Information To ensure you have a comfortable stay, please note that our family, including our two children and a friendly dog, lives on the upper level of the home. You may hear the sounds of family life from time to time. There is also an elementary school across the street, so you may hear children playing outside during the day and notice temporary traffic during school drop-off and pick-up times. Please inform us if you plan to have any visitors. -No smoking of any kind inside the house. -No illegal drugs or firearms. -Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. -Pets are welcome but need to be disclosed in the booking message.
