Cottage is perfectly situated-off the beaten path, yet easily accessible to Bay and Ocean beaches, a fantastic bike trail, nature preserve, restaurants, ice cream, shopping, & mini golf. The space Quick summary: 2 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 5-6; large outdoor shower w/changing area, private deck, spacious screened-in porch with vaulted ceiling, large outdoor fire pit for barbecues or relaxing and savoring the quiet, star-filled evenings; fully equipped kitchen and custom outdoor shower with separate changing area. Located on a private cul-de-sac, just 7/10 of a mile from sandy, family-friendly Cooks Brook Beach on the Bay Side and approx. 1.7 miles from Nauset Beach on the Cape Cod National Seashore. Also located less than one mile from the Bike Trail. This is a unique find due to this spectacular location! This is a non-smoking, pet free home. Reserve time at your home away from home where you can relax off the beaten path, but close to everything you'll need. Our professional cleaners pay close attention to all details as they disinfect and clean the cottage before and after your stay. Two adult mountain bikes, beach chairs and umbrella, books, games and movies are available for your use. The cottage has a great heater, so Spring and Fall are very comfortable and the cottage is maintained as if it were a full-time private home. This well equipped cottage is the perfect escape; you could spend the entire time reading in the screened-in porch, relaxing in a hammock, or outdoors playing games like bacci ball or corn toss. But if you'd like to venture out, talk a walk down the street to the bay beach for a swim or a beautiful sunset. At night, grill up some seafood, or bring in dinner from a local restaurant within minutes of the cottage, roast marshmallows at the fire pit, and gaze at the stars. This cottage is a true find due to its' quiet location and private setting so close to everything one would look for or need in a vacation rental on the Cape. Guest access You will have full access to the cottage. Other things to note We do not provide linen and towels for our guests due to quick turn-arounds and cleanliness factors. We do provide plenty of pillows and blankets for your use. We do not provide propane for the gas grill. You are welcome to use whatever propane is in the tank but if it runs out or is empty upon arrival, you are welcome to exchange the tank at a nearby location like Cumberland Farms or the Shell Gas Station. Firewood is available in bundles at nearby stores like Cumberland Farms and the General Store (next to Ben & Jerry's and Dunkin Donuts) just across Route 6. Special rates available for Spring and Fall ~ fantastic times to be on the Cape! Quiet, no traffic, no crowds, lines or beach parking fees, comfortable temperatures, secluded beaches...
