The house is located in a quiet residential area of Kailua Kona, one intersection south of the center(Henry Street), close to shops, markets, restaurants and beaches . Bath room is shared. There is a vanity where you can wash your hands and a mini fridge for guests only outside of the room. No cooking facility (ask if you have special need). The host is a "Food as medicine" chef. One block from the city center, established, safe and quiet neighborhood. You can walk to ocean front(20 minutes walk). Great for a morning walk. You better rent a car to go around Hawaii (no public transportation here), but it is a lovely walk to the famous and popular Alii Drive. Take Nani Kailua Drive down (cross the highway), turn right to Hualalai Drive all the way to the ocean front. The corner is a farmers market open from Tuesday to Sunday, where you can buy local fresh vegetables and fruits. Turn left on Alii Drive, you will find Daylight Mind Coffee, for the award winning Kona coffee. So many good restaurants and shops on the street (Alii Drive) you will enjoy walking up and down. You can swim in front of Marriott Kamehameha hotel (at the pier) and watch dolphins' jumping.
