Just a 1/2 mile pleasant walk, or drive, up the street to Bever Park. and approximately 2 blocks from historic Brucemore Mansion Estate. You will have easy access to Downtown, Lindale Mall, NewBo Market, both hospitals, Collins Aerospace, and so much more There are 3 bedrooms, one of which is yours with 1 Full Size Bed… 2 shared bathrooms, bath tub without a shower on the second floor, shower and laundry in the basement bathroom. Shared kitchen, den, living and dining rooms, set in the classic formal style of the 1920’s. There are 6 security cameras in the house, all in public spaces, the upstairs hallway facing away from the guest rooms, the living room in the front corner, the dining room in the back corner, the kitchen above the door, the den in the basement, on the back wall, and the doorbell. Cameras are all on at all times. Guests will be allowed full access to the main rooms of the house, including a living room with a Gas Fireplace on the first floor, and a den with a 55" curved screen television in the lower level. Guests will however need to check with the home owner before using the fireplace to ensure that everything is operated safely. There is also complete access to the kitchen, however guests will need to provide their own food, and clean up after each use in the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on the second floor, so there is a possibility of running into one another there. There are door knockers on each of the bedroom doors and on the bathroom doors both on the second floor and in the basement level. Other opportunities for interaction exist throughout the house, from the den in the basement to the living room on the first floor. Kitchen and dining room included. Also: Zach and Anne don’t live on the premises, but are available for help if needed. Located approximately 2 blocks from Iowa's only "National Historic Trust Site" "Brucemore Mansion", easily accessible just 2 blocks away with a nice walk. There is public transportation available in Cedar Rapids, however, guests will need to check on times and locations of bus routes. There is only street parking available at this home. Guests are requested to provide their own toiletries (especially soap & shampoo for showering), food, and laundry detergent (powder detergent only please). However if the laundry detergent is a possible issue, there will be a donation box to help offset the use and replacement of the detergent. Keurig and multiple types of coffees and hot chocolate are provided for guests or you are welcome to bring your own if you choose.
