Located just off I-80, only 25 minutes to West Des Moines! Stuart is a friendly small-town offering amenities including restaurants, ice cream, aquatic a pool, movie theater, bowling alley, parks, Wedding Venues, and more! Nearby there are lakes and state parks with plenty of trails to explore. Relax and enjoy all the area has to offer! The space This 1800s bungalow has been updated top to bottom! The entire home and yard are for your enjoyment. The living room includes a couch and TV where you can stream your favorite shows on Hulu and Disney +. Your entire party will eat in comfort in the formal dining room. The front bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk - each room has their own TV. Between the bedrooms is a jack-and-jill style bathroom with a full tub and shower. The couch pulls out into a queen-sized bed and includes pillows and linens. The kitchen has been completely updated with quartz countertops, plenty of dishes and utensils, and a dishwasher. If you like to pack light, don't worry! We've got you covered. The laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer including detergent for your use! Now Certified with the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking! Guest access Guests enjoy the entire home and yard. There is access to an unfinished basement from inside the home. A code will be provided to you prior to check in for you to enter through the back door of the house! If you prefer to park in the street during the summer months & enter through the front door (no stairs!) - let us know. We can get you the code for the key to the front door or you can walk around and let yourself in through the back door! Other things to note Guest parking is located in the rear through the alleyway. The area is lit at night and has a paved path from the gravel drive to the rear deck. There are 7 steps to enter from the rear. Street parking is prohibited by the city between November 1st and April 1st due to a snow ordinance - more info at the city website. Parking is free. If accessibility using rear steps is an issue, you may request a key for your stay for accessing the front door. If smoking or vaping occurs inside the house or any other damage that requires replacement or additional cleaning, a $250 minimum charge will be applied to your stay.
