Music and Art Retreat 1.5 Hours from NYC
Description
Private bedroom in a 21-and-over art and music community. Access to indoor sun porch, eat-in kitchen, activity room good for art projects, bathroom with tub & shower. Has high-speed internet, cable TV, window A/C. Access to music studios by appt. Minimum requirements for hosting: A completed and verified AirBnB profile and at least 1 positive review from another AirBnB host. The space Get away from it all ... This space with its own entrance is part of an artist community. You’ll have a private bedroom. Shared areas include a sunny, enclosed porch, eat-in kitchen, a full bath with tub and shower and an activity room good for doing large art projects or photography. There is high-speed internet and cable TV and off-street parking. A small outdoor covered porch with a little table and chairs and a side patio is pleasant in spring and summer. In autumn, the changing leaves are spectacular. If you like to walk, bring comfortable walking shoes because it is very hilly and you can get quite a workout. Our community requires a photo ID from all residents and guests. This is optional if AirBnB has provided us with your full legal name, and your profile has a photo which clearly shows your face so we can identify you upon check-in. Guest access You have access to all the amenities normal in a private community. It's fine for 2 guests doing a month-long stay, but if you have extra short-term guests, we do have sleeping options for them for a modest additional fee. The laundry room is shared and we ask that you coordinate with other community members for the use of the machines. We also share our rehearsal studios, located off site, at no extra cost by special arrangement. If you need to book one, please inquire for details. Other things to note We are most comfortable hosting musicians and visual and performing artists who appreciate what we have to offer. We accept AirBnB guests because we enjoy meeting people. It’s not like a rental or a lockbox type listing in which you never see the hosts. You will be guest(s) in our home and will actually meet us. So if you’re looking for something more hotel-like, or if you are ultra picky or anti-social, this may not be a good fit for you. There is another completely separate space downstairs that may be occupied. When there are guests in both spaces, we ask that you respect the quiet hours of 10 PM to 10 AM.
